1. General

1.1 Electrodirect is a trade-name of KNN Media Limited which is registered with the tax authority in Ireland - Vat registraion number IE3332060BH and company registartion number 558705.
1.2 These terms and conditions are with the exclusion of some other conditions applicable to all legal functions, where KNN Media limited as a supplier of products.
1.3 Electrodirect doesn't accept any reservations on orders by the counterpart (from now on mentioned as: the consumer).
1.4 Electrodirect reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time. The consumer recognizes that electrodirect is competent these general modify conditions and accepts tied to be to thus modified general conditions. In case of a substantive modification of the general conditions electrodirect will inform all users by e-mail of this and the modified general conditions to send along.


2. Payments

2.1 Payment takes place in advance by means of bank transfer, Credit Cards/Laser/Maestro, Postal order, Bank draft, Check or Paypal. More information in the Available Payment Methods at the button of the website.


3. Prices

3.1 All prices are subject to type errors.
3.2 All prices are exclusive of forwarding charges, if applicable.
3.3 An offer by electrodirect has to be considered without engagement, unless in written correspondance. Offers occur subject to the availability of the products. Electrodirect has the right to annul the agreement.


4. Supply

4.1 Electrodirect cannot stand for the possibility of providing all products. When a shortage accurs the consumer will be informed and the remitted amount will be paid back.
4.2 Delivery takes place after the invoiced amount on the Electrodirect account has been remitted. Delivery takes place, if possible, within 5 working days after the amount has been received. We offer a wide range of products and they will be sent dierectly from our headoffice in Ireland.
4.3 Electrodirect is authorized to send the delivery in parts. The extra costs of the these shipment(s) will be taken on by Electrodirect.


5. Liability

5.1 Electrodirect is not responsible for any damage that may accur during the delivery of the products.
5.2 Electrodirect is not responsible for damage during the transfer of the products.
5.3 Periods called at 4.2 are considered as an indication and not as fatal period. Electrodirect is never responsible for damage as a result of overshooting of this delivery period.
5.4 If a product has been delivered imperfect, or if delivery fails, the consumer has a term of 3 days to inform Electrodirect of these imperfections in a written manner.


6. Exchange


6.1 Exchange is only possible if the delivered product is returned in original (unopened) state and the delivered product is in possession of Electrodirect within 3 days after delivery.
6.2 Costs which result from a desired exchange (for example shipping costs) are carried by the consumer.


7. Shipping costs

7.1 Electrodirect calculates the shipping costs per order. The costs depend on the type of delivery. The costs are visible in the shopping cart.
7.2 Electrodirect reserves the right to demand an insured shipment for orders outside the EU. The consumer can refuse this requirement by informing Electrodirect directly in a written manner, which automatically initiates the annulment according to condition 10.1.
7.3 The consumer is responsible for extra costs resulting from the delivery of goods, like additional postal fees or import duties


8. Warranty

8.1 The consumer is obliged directly after supply, to inspect delivered goods thoroughly on lacks and, at presence of it, inform Electrodirect directly in a written manner. If the consumer does not indicate Electrodirect within 3 days after the day of supply on lacks, which could be noticed at thorough research, the consumer is considered to agree with the state in which goods have been delivered, and every right to warranty expires.
8.2 Electrodirect offer exclusively supplier guarantee. These expire at improper use of the delivered products.
8.3 Manufacturers’ warranties do not cover:
- replacement consumables such as batteries, light bulbs, fuses and recording or playback heads,
- improper use of the product,
- damage resulting from repairs performed by non-certified technicians,
- damage caused by external factors such as accidents, internal or external shocks, lightning, power spikes, rust and sand.
Please read the user manual supplied with your product(s) carefully for the exact terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty.
Should the manufacturer not honour the terms of the warranty for any of the aforementioned reasons, Electrodirect will not be held responsible.
In cases where the manufacturer’s warranty is not applicable, the manufacturer will provide the customer with an estimate repair fee. If you would like your product(s) to be returned to you by the manufacturer without any repairs being carried out, administration charges may apply. Should you choose to abandon your product altogether, no additional charges will apply.
You have 3 months to accept or reject the quote and pay the amount due. If we do not hear from you within this time, we will assume that you have rejected the quote and abandoned your product. No compensation will be issued.
8.4 When applying for warranty, product must be returned to our store for repair with the orginal box and accessories. If a new product has to be sent in exchange for the damaged one, it will be sent directly to the custumer. You as the client must enclose a copy of the reciept printed from our website. Please enclose a brief note about the problem in the procduct and the adress where the package has to be returned. All must be in printed forms. All delivery charges are at the clients cost. If any of the above documents are missing, warranty claims may be delayed or declined. Electro Direct will not take responsibility for any damage caused during the shipping.
8.5 Our goal for every order: a satisfied customer. Therefore besides warranty and our RMA procedure for defects, we also give you a 3 days money back guarantee! If the product is not what you expected or if you have changed your mind, you will get your money back. Money back does not include the delivery or shipping cost.We do require that the product is sent back at the custumers expense in its unopened original packaging within 3 days after your order was delivered. However Electrodirect do not offer money back guarantee on the following Categories: Computers and Tablets, In Car Entertainment and Angel Eyes Headlights.

The legal guarantee concerning product conformity does not apply in some cases:
- when damage is caused by external factors such as shocks, lightning, power surges, rust and sand.
- when damage is caused by the customer’s non-respect of the manufacturer’s instructions regarding the use and installation of the product,
- when damage is caused by the customer’s misuse of the product
- when the customer is aware of damage to the product at the time of placing their order

Please note: in order to qualify to get your money back, you must first contact the helpdesk and await instructions before sending back your product


9. Damages

9.1 Electrodirect will only be responsible for damage, which can be attributed to deliberately bad or rough operating, or caused by circumstances which are the responsibility of Electrodirect according to law.


10. Cancellation of orders

10.1 A consumer has the right to cancel their order within 3 days upon the receival of the products. Within this period the consumer must inform Electrodirect of its cancellation in a written manner. After confirmation from Electrodirect by means of an RMA, it is only possible to return the product in its original (unopened) state. Electrodirect will refund the purchase amount within 14 days of receival of the returned product. Products with built in memory and Multimedia Systems which has been already fitted in the vehicle are not included in the cancellation and refund policy.
10.2 If the period called at 4,2 has been expired by more than 14 working days, the consumer has the option of canceling the order free of charge. The consumer must always indicate that the order has to be cancelled in a written manner. However Electrodirect do not offer money back guarantee on the following Categories: Computers and Tablets, In Car Entertainment and Car Accesories.


11. Referrel discount

11.1 Any policy with regard to discount in exchange for referral orders is subject to change by Electrodirect.
11.2 Discount in exchange for referral orders will be granted after the referral is considered to be definite. This is after payment and shipping of the order.
11.3 Granted discount for future orders can be reversed in case of order cancellations and returns.
11.4 Electrodirect reserves the right to exclude or distinct specific persons or companies from taking part in the discount in exchange for referral orders program.
11.5 A specific case to which both 11.3 and 11.4 can be applied is when a referral number can be considered as (partly) public knowledge or when it is used outside of the context of friends.


12. Data Confidentiality & Security

12.1 Customer data will not be shared with any third parties. An exception to this is data being exchanged with the payment service provider in order to accommodate an online payment.
12.2 Customer data is always submitted over a SSL connection.


13. Privacy Policy

13.1 Third party vendors, including Google, show our advertisment on sites on the internet. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve advertisment based on a user's prior visits to our website. Users may opt out of Google's use of cookies by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page.
